PART-TIME : ADVANCED DIPLOMA FOR PROFICIENCY IN FRENCH

Duration:One Academic Year.
Eligibility for Admission:A pass in a degree in French or a Diploma in French of this University or any other University.

PART-TIME : CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES IN FRENCH

The University offers instruction in French as a part-time programme, primarily intended for such persons who are desirous of obtaining knowledge of a modern European language other than English. The duration of the certificate programme extends over a period of one academic year.
Admission to the certificate programme may be extended to Higher Secondary Students of Annamalainagar and Chidambaram, Government Officials residing at Chidambaram, and School Teachers of Chidambaram.

PART-TIME : DIPLOMA PROGRAMME IN FRENCH

Duration:One Academic Year.
Admission to the Diploma Programme in French is open to members of the University who have passed (i) the certificate examination in French of this University (ii) B.A. / B.Sc. degree examination with French under Part-I of this University or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto.
Admission to the Diploma may be extended to Higher Secondary Students of Annamalainagar and Chidambaram, Government officials residing at Chidambaram, and School Teachers of Chidambaram, provided they satisfy the other conditions for admission.

Eligibility for Admission:The Certificate Programme in Linguistics is open to the graduates of this University or any other University recognised as equivalent.
The Certificate Programme in Languages is open to the students of this university and to whom, in the opinion of the Vice-Chancellor, the programme will be useful.
Eligibility for Admission to the Diploma Programme: Degree holders who have passed the certificate examination are eligible for admission. Candidates, who have passed the certificate programme examination but who are not graduates will be entitled only to advanced certificate.

PART-TIME : DIPLOMA IN JOURNALISM

Duration:One Academic Year.
Eligibility for Admission: The programme is open to the graduates of Annamalai university or any other university or recognised Institutions and with pass in the certificate programme in journalism conducted by Annamalai University.

PART-TIME : DIPLOMA IN FOLKLORE

Duration: One Academic Year.
Eligibility for Admission: The programme is open to the graduates of Annamalai University or any other university or recognised Institutions and with pass in the certificate in Folklore conducted by Annamalai University.

CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME IN FOLKLORE

Duration: One Academic Year.
Eligibility for Admission: This programme is open to the graduates of Annamalai University or any other University or recognised Institutions.

PART-TIME : CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME IN REPROGRAPHY
AND NON-BOOK MATERIALS

Duration: One Academic Year.
Eligibility for Admission: Candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s Degree of this university or an examination recognised by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto. However, preference will be given to candidates undergoing the Bachelor of Library and Information Science Certificate Programme in Folklore of this university (or) who have secured the B.L.I.S. degree of this university.

PART-TIME : CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME IN ENGLISH FOR COMMUNICATION

Duration: September to April.
                   Four days a week.
Eligibility for Admission:Students of this university or personnel in the administrative services in Government, Quasi-Government, and Non-Government establishments.

PART-TIME : CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME IN SPOKEN ENGLISH

Duration: 90 hours of contact sessions spreading over the whole academic year.
Eligibility for Admission:A Pass in H.Sc. Examination.

PART-TIME : CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME IN EFFECTIVE ENGLISH SPEAKING

Duration: Six Weeks (Five days in a week at two hours per day).
Eligibility for Admission:

SPEAKING EFFECTIVE ENGLISH
