The Publications Division
The Publications Division of the University is one of the earliest, non-profitable publishers of scholarly books in India. It was founded on the benign wish of the Founder Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar of Chettinad, to propagate Tamil literature, culture and religion. His aim was to make available, even to the layman, the classics in the Language at the lowest possible price. Accordingly, the publications brought out by the University are priced at an unbelievably low price.

The Publications Division of the University has brought out more than 600 books, journals, and seminar papers which cater to the reading taste of scholars throughout the world.

Books published by the Publications Division which are available for sale are included in this list. Unpriced publications and titles which are at present out of stock are not included.

A discount of 15 percent on the sale price of publications will be allowed for individual and institutional purchases and 25 percent for book-sellers.

Books will be supplied on receipt of the cost of copies in the University cash counter or by M.O./D.D.
All money transactions must be in the name of Registrar only.

University CASH COUNTER will function from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. during the working days. Saturdays and Sundays are week-end holidays.
