The Complaints Committee against Sexual Harassment at Annamalai University (CCSHAU) is dedicated to ensuring a safe and dignified environment for all women under the POSH Act, 2013. The university provides an Online Grievance/Suggestion Submission Portal where students, employees, and other stakeholders can confidentially report incidents of sexual harassment or share suggestions to improve workplace safety. Any aggrieved woman can submit a complaint within three months of the incident. Extensions may be granted in exceptional cases. The committee ensures a fair inquiry process, protecting the complainant’s identity and handling cases with utmost confidentiality. If the complaint is substantiated, appropriate disciplinary action, including warnings, suspensions, or terminations, may be taken.
