Vision and Mandate

About IQAC

The IQAC, Annamalai University, was established in 2006, even before it was insisted as mandatory by the UGC. Dr. R. Elango, Professor of Economics was its first Nodal Officer. Subsequently, eminent academicians have lead the cell from the front.

• 1. Dr. N. Malathi, Professor of Economics (July,2009 to Sep, 2013)
• 2. Dr. J. Vasanthakumar, Professor of Agrl. Extension (Sep,2013 to Jan, 2015)
• 3. Dr. A. Murugappan, Professor of Civil Engineering (Feb,2015 to Nov, 2015)
• 4. Dr. A. Shanmugam, Professor of Marine Biology (Nov,2015 to Sep, 2017)
• 5. Dr. N. Krishnamohan, Professor of Mechanical Engineering (Sep,2017 to Jan, 2019)
• 6. Dr. A. Murugappan, Professor of Civil Engineering (Jan,2019 to May, 2020)

      From may 2020 onwards Dr.S.Arivudainambi, Professor of Entomology has been leading the IQAC as the Director. To make the functioning of the IQAC more efficient four Deputy Directors have been appointed and they work in tandem with the Director.
